English Review:

Don’t let that the very short and details free synopsis fool you, this book is so beautifully written and has so many layers and turns that is almost impossible that you know where it’ll take you next… Seriously: this book is AMAZING!

The story has a lot of things that I already saw in another YA books… Magic, vampires, elves, fairies; but in here, none of this creatures are the protagonists, twins Sera and Luke are, and they have these amazing gifts and what makes them even more special is that they both are “The Children of the Prophecy”
Now, if start telling you a few things about the plot and let carry on, I will totally spoil the whole book, because each thing that happens is link to another and that thing is link to another one… The magical and compelling way that J. Meyers has when she writes made that I read this book with a smile in my face, eager to know the ending… I just can’t stop reading!

The book is an introduction, since we don’t get the full prophecy about the twins and the other gifted children, but every character is so much alive that I just want to meet Sera and Luke, and take a cup of coffee with them. About the secondary characters, if I have to pick, I should definitely go after Jonas, he such a gentleman; but I still like Luke …

The relationship between the twins is so lovely and fun, they are the perfect other half of the other, the other part of the soul… It was so beautiful seen how close these two where, that now I want a twin too!

The author knew exactly how to mix mystery, fantasy, and romance and create a perfect tale of beauty relations and mind blowing scenes.

By now, you should already know everything about YA novels and what is going to happen next, but this book is such a refreshing debut, that you should run in this moment and get a copy of it… I highly recommend this series!
